Texas Surveyor Hand Held Embossing Seal
The Texas seal of the Licensed Professional Land Surveyor is an octagon, the points of which are said to represent the major subdivisions around the compass. The Board has recommended that the seal size correspond to that produced when the distance across the corners of the seal is 1-9/16 inches.
Texas
has two types of land surveyors licensed to practice. First is the
Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS). This license is required
for most types of surveys performed. A second and more specialized
license is the Licensed State Land Surveyor (LSLS). This license is
required to survey boundaries which adjoin lands owned by the State
including those along rivers and the Gulf of Mexico coast. This license
is required to perform surveys for Patents, Vacancies, Deed of
Acquittance or other surveys requiring recordation with the Texas
General Land Office (GLO).

IMPORTANT: Standard hand held and standard desk models are designed to emboss 20 - 30 lb. paper. The extra heavy duty models and cast iron models are designed for standard paper as well as light card stock paper.
PAPER VERIFICATION: Verify number of sheets, gold foil use, paper weight, fiber content. Anything other than 1-2 sheet 20# copy paper, SEND SAMPLES to reduce chance of trouble.
INSERT DIRECTION: Paper insert direction. ASK: if you are reading the document, which side do you insert in the seal TOP / BOTTOM / LEFT / RIGHT, choose only one, (not bottom/left etc). Charge applies to change insert direction.

- All Land Surveyor seals are made to your state specifications.
- Sizing can vary from 1-5/8” diameter to a 2” inch diameter impression area.
