476 Quart of Solvent Resistant Ink
Color System: Pigment.
Solvent System: Alcohol.
Available Colors: Black and White.
Note: Designed specifically for circuit boards. This medium dry ink is highly resistant to solvents .... It is also non-conducting. This ink contains an aggressive solvent so should not
be used with plastic stamp pads or stamping equipment with plastic
parts. We have metal case felt stamp pads specifically made for this ink. All rubber
stamps used with this ink should be made with a natural real rubber.
Medium Dry (30-60 secs), this ink gives excellent adhesion to circuit
boards and the longer it is left to dry the more resistant it becomes to
solvents such as de-greasers, fluorinated/chlorinated hydrocarbons,
alcohols, and soap and water.
Aerobrand 476 ink is an industrial-grade, solvent-resistant ink designed for marking circuit boards, metal, and plastic parts.
It has excellent adhesion and becomes more resistant to harsh solvents
like degreasers and alcohols as it dries. The ink is commonly sold by
marking and stamping supply companies under the "476" product number, or
as an "Aerobrand" or "Aero" ink.
Key features of Aerobrand 476 ink:
- Drying time: Medium-dry, typically between 30 and 60 seconds.
- Solvent resistance: Highly resistant to many solvents, including alcohols, degreasers, and hydrocarbons.
- Surfaces:
Ideal for non-porous surfaces such as circuit boards, metal, and
certain plastics. It is also non-conductive, which is crucial for
electronics.
- Composition:
It is an alcohol-based ink with a pigment color system. It contains an
aggressive solvent and is not compatible with plastic stamping
equipment.
- Available colors: Black and white are the most common colors.
