way to buy individual letters and numbers is by buying boxed assortments.
"T" assortments include capital letters, numbers and
punctuation marks. "F" figure assortments include numbers
and punctuation marks only. The type sets shown on this chart
are usually in stock, ready for shipment.

RIBtype® comes in 4
basic styles: A, B, U and G. However RIBtype® can be manufactured
in nearly any typeface. The accompanying
chart compares our nomenclature to other brands’
for easy conversion. For example, RIBtype® style U76 is comparable
to other brands’ 076.

CUSTOM
TYPE
|
| RIBtype® can be
made-to-order, in the form of single characters (sorts), single
line logos or multiple-line mats within 2 days. Large orders may
require extra time. In emergencies, 1-day or 2-day special rush
service is available for an extra charge. We can also convert your
camera-ready black-and-white artwork into type. Custom logos and
mats can provide superior impressions over combinations of single
characters. This is because the typeface wears evenly. Use of logos
instead of single sorts can also save time and prevent costly operator
insertion errors. When ordering custom type, please specify any
unusual requirements, such as vertical ribs, mirror image or cut-outs
for mats used with inserts. |

RIBBED
BASE SHEETS
We sell rib-base
in 14" x 18" and 7 1/4" x 17" sheets or cut to
your size specifications. The rib-base is the type-holding material
you adhere to your print wheel, print head or stamp face. We also
sell replacement rubber coder rings for many brands of coders. Rib-base
is normally .155" thick, but some special thicknesses are available.

For
low-volume imprinting, we offer a variety of hand-held devices for use
with RIBtype®. Rib-base handle stamps can be made in sizes to suit your
needs. Self-inking stamps have the ink pad built-in for fast and easy
marking. Rocker stamps made of wood or even more durable aluminum are
recommended for large imprint areas.
